I am assuming that you mean the Winbuck line that has only one
intermediate station at Northolt.
IIRC it was built in the 50's using Icelandic miners who were shipped
back home after the project was completed.
Test trains are run on the first Thursday of every month, in case of
power fail there is a back up facility at Windsor Castle that consists
of 5000 hamster wheels using 20,000 hamsters. There is a secret
hamster farm behind Eton Station.

I believe the hamsters are shortly to be replaced by a selection of those
1.7M humans who signed the internet petition against road pricing thus
daring to defy the mighty (and all seeing) Bliar

LOL.

I presume these people will be made to run round the inside of the London
Eye and the Yorkshire Wheel.

There are certainly tunnels connecting a large number of sites in Central
London but none of the maps I have access to show them connecting to Buck
House. Some of them are PO (now BT) cable tunnels and others connect the
various government 'citadels' under the various ministry buildings. However
to the best of my knowledge non are equipped with rails.

The usual source of these stories is that someone has heard of these tunnels
and also of the Post Office railway and put 2 and 2 together and made 5.

As to the story of evacuating the Royal Family in an emergency there are two
runways in Central London capable of taking an aircraft of the Queens Floght
assuming the latter still exists.

I've heard plenty of good stuff about London on Robert Elms' show when
I've tuned in, but the stories about secret Underground railways that
featured on this particular show was not good stuff, it was all a load
of cobblers!

There are undoubtedly some quasi-secret tunnels and installations in
London - for example the "Q-Whitehall" facility and "PINDAR" [1] - and
there are quite possibly a number of others - but there's no secret
Underground railway lines!

there being an access for mergencies.

The Broad Walk in Kensington Gardens is the obvious one.

It wouldn't come out on the line, but behind some anonymous looking door
deep within the station. It could even be a storage room with another
door at the back, which few people working there enquire about.

Having been around when the Victoria line was being built I remember the
discussions in the Press of the time. The story was that the direct route
under Buck House was turned down and the line actually makes a big (and
expensive) curve around it. Phil is alleged to have said, " I'm not having
their bloody trains run under my house, thank you!"
