Though I bet the majority of passengers using the 59 from Kings Cross down the Euston Road won't have anything to do with Eurostar at all! I'm curious as to how the bus will serve Euston bus station in the (broadly) southbound direction, as the press release states. I guess the bus will turn right off the Euston Road into Euston bus station, before turning right onto Eversholt Street and then crossing Euston Road to Upper Woburn Place and continuing down as normal. Same as the 91, I assume - I _think_ that's what it does, but I try to avoid buses via Euston for exactly that reason. Jonn As a user of the 59, the following is likely: From Upper Woburn Place, cross Euston Road into Eversholt St (you cant turn right !), left into bus station round island at end and back to normal 59 stop under the Eversholt St railway offices. Then cross Eversholt St into Grafton Place, right into Churchway and left on Euston Rd to KX. Return will be a reversal of above turning right off Euston Rd into Churchway. Thanks, that sounds likely. I'd overlooked the turnaround facility in Euston bus station. |

As had I - didn't know there was one, but it does make sense as anything that terminates does so on one side and departs from the other. Despite the fact that I use it every day ![]() I wonder how long it will continue to run that route, though. With the 205 it didn't last long. The 45 takes forever and turns off just before Streatham Hill. B. |

In return, for those of us who hate the Northern Line but want to go from Euston to the City, can we also have the 45 or 63 extended from KX to Euston? How long does this journey take then(kx-sh)? And what's a rough idea of time from Euston to W/Loo in the daytime/non-peak? The last time I needed to get from St. P to W/loo I walked, as I had my daughter in her wheelchair, so no tubes, and buses seemed too complicated to work out where the stops are. We did get a bus back to Regent St., though didnt realise that you had to buy a ticket before boarding - how uncivilised you Londoners are!
