Obviously an Oyster card can be used on the first leg by bus but on the second leg from Waterloo the tfl site adds notes at the side of this leg *saying "Zone(s): 1, 2, 3" *does this mean that an Oyster card could also be used on this part of the journey and if so would this just be charged at the Zone 1,2,3 travelcard rate? * (the journey would be offpeak) The TfL Journey planner makes no account for whether Oyster PAYG is valid or not on a particular service. The zones apply equally to Travelcards (paper or seasons on Oyster) which are valid on these services. The latest map of routes where Oyster PAYG is valid is he http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_...OysterPAYG.pdf (which I've just noticed has been updated with the future First Great Western rollout, and also shows the one train a day Stratford-Seven Sisters) U -- http://londonconnections.blogspot.com/ A blog about transport projects in London |
