One has to suspect the accuracy of the rest of the reporting, when it is clear that the journalist can't successfully subtract 2006 from 2008. So in summary, the cost for the project was thought to be ridiculous, so they have doubled it to make it more realistic? What sort of 'backing' are TfL supposed to be giving anyway, the DfT seem to be 'investing' the vast majority... Paul S |
