Where the two loose rails are in between the tracks on the spur, there
appears to be a raised area if you zoom in far enough. Was this once a
platform?

In that area on Multimap Bird's Eye there seems to be a few S&T cabinets,
but no platform.

Just before the tunnel mouth there's a row of yellow flat wagons and a pair
of shipping containers, on a disconnected piece of track:

There might be a partial platform section behind the shipping containers,
but it's hard to tell.

The station had a single platform alongside a temporary spur off the

For those interested in the mileages, the temporary station was at 12m
25ch (I've seen it described as "Heathrow Interchange"), the northern-
most tunnel mouth is at 12m 30ch.

The station was removed very promptly on opening of the permanent
route. I believe that restoring the land to its original use was part
of the planning requirements.

For a short period in 1998 before the Heathrow Express tunnels opened,
trains started running to a temporary station called Heathrow Junction
somewhere near the tunnel mouth. Does anyone have any details about
exactly where it was and what it amounted to, or even photos of it?

I took a photo of a 332 there once, after just getting off it.
