So the analogy then is 377/5 are using GPS for normal doors use as a
319 is more or less same as a 455 in this respect ?

Indeed, however I have to correct my post as the 455s also show front
7 coaches only for Battersea Park on the up slow, which I discovered
yesterday. I was in the back coach but alighted at Clapham Junction so
have no idea what if anything is in place to stop peole opening the
doors, one assumes nothing except grandfather rights ? Will try and
find out.

Do Not Alight Here signs like Barbican ?

For some reason I was under the impression the restriction at
Battersea Park was on 4x456 not allowed but 2x455 is allowed within
whatever those rights are.
