For those wishing to visit the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre
(http://www.bucksrailcentre.org) on 31st of the month, Chiltern
Railways will be operating their usual services from Aylesbury to
Quainton Road, which should feature 121 020, the Pressed Steel
bubble-car.

Timings for the service are at the bottom of the page:

But no service from Marylebone to Aylesbury via Amersham due to
engineering works; it will be necessary to travel via High Wycombe,
as it was the last time the Quainton service ran.

Not Chiltern's fault, I'm afraid. It's the interminable engineering work on
LUL that's been going on and on and on (with very little evidence of
results) over the last couple of years, meaning that the Met line Chiltern
service can't run south of Amersham.

We can hope that the Met Line work is worthwhile. Earlier
"improvements" to the Met have actually been downgrades.
