Default West Ruilsip to Richmond

Trying to find the best route for next weekend.

West Ruislip to Notting Hill

or

West Ruislip to North Acton, then Ealing Broadway

Your advice would be appreciated.

Rather than starting from West Ruislip use one of the Met/Piccadilly
stations on the Uxbridge branch then it's up to Rayners Lane (change if
necessary) down to Acton Town on the Piccadilly, Change to District to
Turnham Green then back to Richmond.

The journey planner says Ruislip Manor to Richmond is 1.01 that way although
it tells to to stay on the Picc to Barons Court (!) before revering
direction.
