Perhaps it's because the Network Card £13.00 minimum weekday fare, and the 'after 1000' rule mean it isn't any use for 5 days out of 7... Friends and Family doesn't appear in the list either. Somebody suggested it was because it has to allow for groups of adults and the compulsory accompanying children. The Network Card also has group and children validity, but its use by an individual should be programmable for weekend use only. Paul S |

Also, a NSE card if loaded on Oyster can't then be read by NSE ticket offices outside the zonal area. To provide both a paper & Oyster NSE discount card would leave it open to fraud, with both usable simultaneously by different people....there's no photocard needed! |

Can you put a Senior Railcard onto an Oyster card? I'm almost certain those don't require photocards either. Neil |

If from 2nd January suppose I board a 405 bus in Redhill just after
9am and use my PAYG Oyster to travel to Croydon, and onwards to Victoria by tram and District Line. This means that the off-peak cap would be applied? However if I alighted at Coulsdon South to go to Victoria by train and touched in at Coulsdon South before 9.30 would that change the cap to a peak cap? -- Stuart Johnson in Peterhead, Scotland To reply direct remove FILTER from |
