Perhaps in time we will have a four track NLL with ELL trains reaching
Camden Road, or even Queens Park. *There are no plans yet, but who
knows!

What I would find useful is a service via the East curve at Dalston to
Hackney and Stratford, but I suppose there's no chance of that ever
being put back.

Agread, but it probably will not happen. IIRC space has been left at
Dalston Junction for this possibility.

BTW, I thought you no longer used railways at all?

I wonder if there have ever been any transport projects, say for rail,
where the whole structure has been built, stations, signals, etc.
Perhaps they even had rolling stock tested and ready to go.

It would have simply been a matter if signing the papers and opening the
gate.

But then, for whatever economic or political reason, the entire project
wound up being dismantled without a fare paying passenger ever having
set foot on it.
