Default Taxi "stops"

A new bus stop-style post has appeared at the taxi rank next to
Lillywhites in (Lower) Regent Street. The post itself is similar to a
bus stop post, but the flag (the top bit) is centred on the post
rather than attached on one side and has a TFL roundel with the word
"TAXI" in it. The stop contains info on fares and gives example fares
to around 30 destinations from Barnet to Woolwich. Unfortunately is
doesn't say whether one'll go south of the river after midnight!

Your keyboard contains a "?" symbol for terminating questions. HTH.

A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood.
That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line -
It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes

You mean mini-cab drivers... Cabbies are generally literate and honest (if a
bit free with their views sometimes ;-) )
