Of course there are. There's a very low one next to Chelmsford
station, for example.

The original thread arose from Rail Replacement Buses between
Peterborough and Cambridge, so more West Anglia than Anglia.

There's at least one road that goes under the route from Cambridge to
Peterborough - Turf Drove, southeast of Coates, west of Turves. I'm
sure there are others.

But is it non the route that should be used by rail replacement buses (to
get us back on topic)?

You couldn't make this up - especially as ColinR was saying only last
weekend that his wife refuses to use the Ely - Cambridge RRP because
last time she did, the bus got lost.

At least it didn't take its top off by trying to go through a low
railway bridge, as has happened with rail replacement buses in the past.

Not too easy in Anglia, that one! Are there any roads that go under
railways in Anglia?

I'm not sure what the boundaries of Anglia are

West to Wales and Cornwall (maybe Devon) and north to Scotland ? OTOH
East Anglia......

So the railway line called "West Anglia" might be expected to go
where, exactly?

As in West Anglia, Great Northern (WAGN) aka "We are going nowhere"?

Kings Cross to Kings Lynn.

(The GN part was Kings Cross to Peterborough).

The Cambridge (Evening) News claims to be "The Voice of Mid-Anglia".

There's also a 'Mid Anglia Rail Passengers Association', which is interested
in the Ipswich to Peterborough and Cambridge routes. So West Anglia is east
of parts of Mid-Anglia? It's all very confusing...

No, West Anglia refers to the Liverpool Street - Cambridge line.

Whooooooooosh!

The OP (who you have snipped) suggested that "Anglia" extends "West to
Wales and Cornwall (maybe Devon)"...

And as this thread has shown the bus did not get lost and in fact took the
best route to Cambridge station, where it went wrong was it did not have a
working transponder to operate the bus shortcut into Cambridge station
