I'm fine at showing people best routes to use on the Underground but does anyone have any ideas about the most useful ten/twenty bus routes to learn? The ones I know well are, 279, 253, 29, 8 (plus 25 and other local ones) TIA One of my faves: 19 Finsbury Park Highbury Angel Tott Ct Rd Picc Circ Piccadilly Hyde Park COrner Knightsbridge Sloane Square Battersea |

That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line - It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes |

The 69 stops at the end of my road, so I try to get it as often as I can. :-) |

There are a few times when I've caught it all the way home from Walthamstow Central. I often catch it home from Canning Town station and I know the area between Canning Town and City Airport quite well. I think that I probably know it better than any other bus route apart from maybe the 91. -- message by Robin May, enforcer of sod's law. The Hutton Report is a whitewash! Long live the BBC! The 69 hasn't stopped at the end of my road in a while, if you know what i'm saying. tom -- Michael Jackson had that idea back in the 80s. There was even a ride at Disneyland. |
