If I have a monthly travelcard put onto my PAYG oyster will it intelligently
use the remaining PAYG money to pay the difference if I go outside of the travelcard zones? -- Spud |

I was told by a station attendant that even with my Freedom Pass, if I went through a gate without touching (registering) it, I would still be eligible for an £80 fine. -- Iain |

I may be wrong, but don't recall reading that in the Freedom Pass rules. |

I may be wrong, but don't recall reading that in the Freedom Pass rules. The circumstances were that my FP was cracked and not working. I had a new one being sent to me. The station going in had the gates open and the exiting station had the gates working. I had to be asked to be let out. I was asked how I got in and I said that I just walked through the gates. That's when he made that comment. -- Iain |
