TfL is an embarrassment. This is nothing new.

Careful, there's a whole group of people on here for whom TfL can do no
wrong and the sun shines out its arse. Or gates perhaps.

Though to be fair this is mainly the doing of the mop haired buffoon at
city hall. The sooner he's gone the better , and I speak as someone of the
tory persuation. God help us if he ever gets into number 10. He has the
self publicising ability of Branson but without the talent for anything else.

No, its probably too late for that. But at least theres the possibility of
things not getting any worse when someone new takes over.

I can see a candidate claiming that they will reopen ticket offices and then come up with a budget just for one or two zone 1 stations if elected.

No business vote (except in the City of London for their own mayor) and
staff need not live in Greater London and may be unable to afford to do so.

I wouldn't expect many people living in London to have jobs outside
London. So the people voting will tend to have jobs that rely to some
extent on tourism. Unless, of course, they think London would be a nicer
place with fewer tourists!
