Default Southern Closed - all day

A few days ago Waterloo was completely closed - letters to Metro and the Evening Standard complained of a complete lack of information at the station either from staff or the p.a. system.

Now Victoria is a completely closed. Tweets (in this mornings Metro) - again state a complete lack of information. And at Clapham Junction 'arrogant staff' do not help[ to make the crowded conditions any more bearable.

All sound par for the course.

Something being printed in the Daily Mail proves that it didn't
happen, unless corroborated by an actual news source. Rags that
re-print tweets don't count for ****.

I got nothing but excellent communication from Southern staff about
what was going on. The only complaint I have is that when they
re-routed my train to London Bridge instead, it didn't stop at any
intermediate stations between Streatham Common and London Bridge - it
just sat between them, not moving, for long periods.

How long was your train? The platforms on the route via Peckham are
only 8 coaches long so that might be the reason.

That's a possibility, I suppose. I don't remember how long it was. If
you have some magic website to look it up on, it was the 09:23 from
Thornton Heath.
