New 'London Connections' map with added LO and new family member,TfL Rail

So that's 4am on the 31st? 8am would be "just too late" for people heading to work that morning and wanting to check the map. Oh Mr P, you do like to pick a fight where there isn't one. None of the services are changing, just the operators. No timetable changes, or fares? Given the summer timetable has just commenced (17 May), there won't be any timetable changes. Fares changes - yes, Brentwood is moving into zone 9, and presumably the TfL-controlled lines will start charging the TfL rate rather than the NR rate for PAYG/contactless fares, meaning the red bits on the West Anglia and GEML on this map will turn green: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms/documents/pay-as-you-go-tarrifs-national-rail.pdf |

Sorry, I was being a bit slapdash, you're absolutely correct - the Lea Valley line and its stations stay with Greater Anglia. So no improvements for Angel Rd station on the cards... https://www.flickr.com/photos/dgeezer/6953361031/ |

I think if you move one line onto the TfL fare scale, you have to move them all as there is no way to tell which line a journey from Cheshunt/Broxbourne to Liverpool Street has used. Peter Smyth |

Yes, of course - it's obvious once you think about it! I see that Paul C has posted a link to a TfL release states the Lea Valley line will move across to the TfL fare scale as well, which is the simplest solution to this issue (apart from introducing a unified fare scale... don't hold your breath!). I guess there's some sort of commercial agreement underlying this between TfL and the franchisee (AGA). |

New 'London Connections' map with added LO and new family member,
I just looked at the timetable for the Cheshunt/Chingford lines, http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms...e-may-2015.pdf and during the repeating sections (all day Saturday and Sunday and bits on weekdays), there are 8 tph between Liverpool Street and Hackney Downs, with alternating 1 minute and 14 minute gaps in either direction at Hackney Downs! The line map is also crap... it uses a dagger to show that trains to and from Chingford do not call at London Fields or Cambridge Heath, instead of just drawing separate lines interchanging at Hackney Downs, like this http://www.londonbusblinds.com/prodi...tan%20Line.jpg |

Services to Stansted Airport, Cambridge[1], Southend, Chelmsford and beyond on the main line. [1] Extended to the Fen Line at peaks. How many of them are in Greater London? -- Colin Rosenstiel |

It will stll serve Stratford and Romford on the Great Eastern. Peak time Hertford East services continue to run semi fast via Seven Sisters and Southbury. They will also run all services via T Hale and from Stratford on the Lea Valley Main Line - there are several stations within Greater London on that route. I hadn't spotted those earlier, so they are definitely a few. When / if we get the STAR services from Stratford to Angel Road then I expect they will be with Greater Anglia as things stand. No mention yet of TfL wanting to run those services. STAR? -- Colin Rosenstiel |
