Default Changes at Feltham

The level crossing at Feltham is to close and the platforms extended where the crossing was to enable 10 coach trains.
The bus stops for 285 and 490 buses are to be removed from the station entrance bus station and will stop instead on the main road.

I quite favour the longer platform plan, but do not like the bus stops being moved.
They say that it adds to journey time to ring the buses into the station and out again. Surely this is allowed for in the timetable.
I can think of places like large supermarkets where buses divert from the maim road and then back again to a stop near the supermarket.
What abut all the buses that now enter and leave at Hammersmith station where they once stopped in the road.

Many people use Feltham to get to Heathrow, I am sure they will not enjoy walking to a main road bus stop instead of a convenient stop outside the station entrance.

Of course, if they hadn't knocked down the old station entrance on the
bridge...
