However you will only have very limited access to journey info and won't be able to complete "incomplete journeys" on line. I think there are genuine benefits from having cards registered on a TfL account. There is only daily and weekly capping at present. There are no monthly (or longer period) caps. Many thanks for that. Any projected ETA on monthly caps? |

The problem with monthly caps is that it's almost certainly going to be based on a defined month of 1st-31st, which isn't going to suit the vast majority of people tim |

You can't do that if you don't choose your own start of month tim |

Which reminds me of an entirely OT story. Many, many years ago when my employer wanted to change junior office staff from a weekly cheque to monthly payment, it had to recognise that said staff used to rush off to their bank at lunchtime and cash the weekly cheque. Many would be in real trouble if they had to do without a payment until the end of the month. So the monthly cheque would be in advance but because of the UK's strange tax year, it woud be on the 5th of the month! My company pension is still paid that way 65 years later. Which just goes to show the word "monthly" can have a variety of meanings! Guy Gorton |

Plenty of businesses do it, but it is a nuisance as most large expenses (mortgage payment etc) work on a calendar monthly schedule. Neil -- Neil Williams Put my first name before the @ to reply. |

Neil 2016 is of course a leap year, I recall my (late) mother who was paid on a monthly basis also being paid for an extra day in February each leap year in one company she worked for. -- Bryan Morris Public Key http://www.pgp.uk.demon.net - 0xCC6237E9 |
