-sept ember.org, at 16:54:12 on Tue, 21 Nov 2017, Recliner remarked: The scheme I recall was shops, I think; because you could dispatch stuff as well as pick it up. Perhaps in spaces in the station where ticket offices had been vacated. Yes, that was mentioned, though I've not yet noticed any former ticket offices reused for other purposes. Most still seem to be occupied by the remaining station staff, and of course the ticket machines are often attached to the walls of the offices, with access required to their rear. Here's one story: http://www.cityam.com/218175/sainsbu...tch-transport- londons-tube-station-click-collect-scheme On-Topic: even mentions 55 Broadway. That's from a couple of years ago, Yes, product launches gone wrong do tend to be like that. so it doesn't address the issue of if/how TfL is reusing the space released by the closed ticket offices. I think the pickups in the linked article are in station car parks. The another outfit with gullible backers was planning on that. -- Roland Perry |
