Default Box Junction Victory?

I've not seen any reference to this, so apologies if it's been posted
already.

The box at the bottom of Procter Street at the junction with High Holborn
was this evening being reduced in size - paint burners were being used.

The size was increased earlier in the year and has been the subject of much
controversy with drivers, as it's impossible to get from one side to the
other before the lights at the end change, nett result is a glut of £100
fines to Camden Council.

It seems that they have listened to the protests....

But now that they have admited they were wrong, will the drivers get their
money back?

I have seen an aerial photo of the (old) box in question, and the majority
of the box seemed to be not on the junction at all but just in High Holborn.
The only possible reason for its size was to act as a GBP 100 tollgate.

That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line -
It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes
