Default White City renaming

Interested to read today that TfL are to rename White City station. A
spokesman said:

"We believe the current name no longer reflects the rich diversity of the
capital. It is quite simply incorrect to allude to London as a 'white' city.
"

TfL have asked the inmates of nearby Wormwood Scrubs prison to come up with
alternative names, and the winning entry will be selected and announced by
Mayor Ken Livingstone.

However, the Tory group on the GLA were scathing about the move.

"It's political correctness gone mad" commented one Tory spokesman.

Local resident Paul Leg was also less than impressed:

"I fought in the war" Mr Leg observed.
