Hi gang,

As you may know, London bus route 705 (Paddington - Liverpool Street via
Waterloo) was withdrawn over the weekend (last trips ran on Friday 20th
May).

The latest issue of Newsrail Express (Number 289) contains a table
giving ATOC's suggested alternative routes.

Here's the list:

And what a waste that it does not provide advice on where to change
routes or to advise where this is at the same stop as opposed to having
to move between adjacent stops. The lack of differentiation of stop
locations at somewhere like Liverpool Street or Waterloo where stops can
be in physically different locations (some not very accessible if
encumbered or disabled) is also very poor. One would have hoped TfL
would have provided such information to ATOC or that ATOC would have
asked - depending on who asked who.
