As yet they haven't found all the dead (8:30 pm Fri. GMT),so I don't think
they're releasing names to the public til all the families are informed for
security reasons one would think

Tonight's Evening Standard had a front page of about 9 people, who are
'Lost'.

I've just been told about the London bombings - about couple of hours
ago - looks pretty bad from the BBC website.

I'm trying to find out the names of those who have been injured - my
aunt and uncle commute into the city from Arnos Grove station every day-
but getting any info is a bit of a challenge since i'm on the Cook
Islands and the main TCI telcom centre with the kiosk's & satellite link
is on the north of the island - i'm on the south-east a few hundred
yards north of muri and there's only one ridiculously slow internet cafe
here that's only good for milkshake and narrowband internet - it falls
over completely when there are more than 4 or 5 people logged-in or when
people are looking at stuff with lots of graphics.

I've seen one post on here that says that the piccadililly line train
was actually going southbound although i can't see any confimation on
any of the main news sites yet - this is the route they both take. They
generally set off to get into work before 9am so i'm pretty sure they
wouldn't have been caught-up - but i'm obviusly really hoping that they
weren't running late. I've also been able to find out that the explosion
was toward the front of teh piccadilliy line train - not very reassuring
since the stairs at arnos grove that take you down to the southbound
platform are slightly further toward the front of the platform than they
are to the back and for some reason most people seem to go down the set
of stairs on the right-hand side that lead to the fron tof the train...
although strangely enough my aunt always used to tell me never to sit on
teh front carrange incase there's a colision... pretty stupid I know but
i hope she's taken her own advice.

Anyway I'm not too woried at the moment but If anybody knows where I can
find a casualty list or a list of those who have been injured (or even
those who were involved and are safe), please let me know by e-mailing
me directly. I'm a bit thin on contact details and don't have their
office numbers so I guess i'll ride over to the comm centre and hope
that teh satellite connections are working so I can phone the police
hotline.

At the moment,as mentioned in prior posts there are 2 or 3 reasons why they
haven't posted the names of the dead yet :
1)they haven't found or identified all of them yet....that too is ongoing
2)security reasons....Only emergency folks have their reasons
3)as mentioned in other posts, compassionate grounds....Let's not rub salt in
a wound too fast until there's been a bit of healing done.
