The Bakerloo line is now joined by the Jubilee, Metropolitan, Northern

National Rail's Live Departure Boards).

There's web, WAP and PDA versions available.

And it's still bugged:

and it is 3 min's in front of Lancashire Standard Time.

All not very useful when you're underground ;-)

Oh, c'mon, you can be more inventive than that:

True. But very useful if you're out and about to go Underground, and
arguably more useful than checking said information on the screen of an
immovable computer via the web.

True, although it might be possible in the future to install screens
around the stations/platforms that will show other lines, either at the
same station, or perhaps even on the next stations with interchanges.
Perhaps touchscreen panels on the platform (like near the information
point) that let you select a station and view realtime train info and
service information/updates.

This could be great for finding out if you'll make the next change, and
at night when the trains aren't as frequent, you can instantly tell if
you're going to need to run or not!

In fact, the whole journey planner could be offered on and around
stations for tourists too - in multiple languages. Not as a replacement
to staff (I suspect this would potentially happen, sadly) but as a
valuable alternative of real benefit to all.

A WAP and/or SMS version of the planner would also be nice, if one
doesn't already exist - though admittedly this would be useless on
tunnel sections.

Both TfL and National Rail have had WAP sites for some time, and both
offer a WAP version of their journey planner whilst you can also get
access to National Rail's Live Departure Boards (LDB) on their WAP
site. The Tube's ETA Boards are also available as WAP pages (see the
original post in this thread).

I've particularly found the National Rail LDBs and very useful whilst
out and about, and the TfL Journey Planner has come in handy too.

Full URL's are below. However some users may find it easier to get to
these services through their networks WAP portal (e.g. through Orange
World, 02 Active, t-zones or Vodafone Live). Depending on how you're
charged for accessing WAP sites, it may be cheaper to do it this way as
well (as I think some networks won't charge you for accessing pages
through their portal).

There's also an URL for a PDA version of the TfL site, though as I
don't have a PDA I've never used it.
