Its okay for train drivers. They don't have to try and get to work when
there is a train strike on. If they did they would soon change their
tune. Ask someone who lost everything they own in a fire during a fire
strike if they support fire strikes?
People who work in essential services such as transport, police, fire,
hospitals should not be allowed to go on strike.

I can't count how many times I've heard this rubbish. As has been said
before, the fat cats will give themselves big pay rises as will M.P.s
but the working man needs collective power, or will be stamped on. I
was in A.S.L.E.F. when Lord Denning decided it was against the law to
work to rule. Who ever heard such rubbish, it took five days and
properly informed debate before he overturned his ruling. I back the
unions and will only recant when bosses give the proletariat the same
rises and perks as they give themselves.
