How to resolve this ??
My girlfriend and I currently live in Woking. She works in Bracknell (30 minute drive). If I were to get a job in Chelmsford - where is a good place to live for a reasonable commute for both of us ? Watford. Gerrards Cross. Beaconsfield. I'd have said with jobs in those two places, having somewhere roughly half way between by car (i.e. near-ish the M25) would not be a particularly great solution at all. Leaving by 7am at the latest will be a must to get to either Bracknell or Chelmsford and guarantee a clear run, otherwise there's the potential of endless problems on the roads. Of course it all depends on how flexible working hours are, but I'd either be within a hassle-free drive of one and reasonable train ride of the other, or midway by train for both. -- Called Pete?
