Default Dispatches - Ch4 tonight 8pm

Thought this might be of interest to the group:

Bob Kiley, the man hired by London Mayor Ken Livingstone to address the
city's commuting worries, examines Britain's crumbling public transport
network. From overcrowded trains to buses that never arrive, he says that
a total overhaul of the system is the only way to end Britain's commuting
nightmare.

Mon 21 Aug. 8pm Channel 4.

Interesting programme. In the light of my recent comments about tyne and
wear just call me Bob!

The subtext, IMO, was that it was a job application by Mr Kiley to be
the single person in charge of the National Rail network.

About as much chance of Ms Kylie (Minogue) being appointed to such a
post as Mr Kiley I would have thought.
