For those who enjoy vintage water borne transport (and can get up
early!) the paddle steamer Waverley is making one of her infrequent
visits to London tommorrow. She leaves Tower Pier (by Tower Bridge) at
9am and goes down river to Southend, arriving at 12:30. She returns,
leaving Southend at 16:45, due back at Tower Pier at 20:30 (in the
dark). Tower Bridge lifts for her to go through and should make a good
photo opportunity.
