I have been given to believe (from a friend who workes for the national
grid) that there is a cable tunnel between the power station just
downstream of Tilbury to a cable run on the Kent side east of Gravesend,
am I right on this one (it's not in the wikipedia article, but I'm not
certain enough to add it myself)?

They've left out the Holiday Inn to Canary Wharf ferry on that wiki article
haven't they?

I've just edited that to show Hampton Ferry, between Hampton Court and
Walton bridges, which has existed since 1519. Are ther any other
ferries that still exist on the Thames?

During the summer there was one running a little bit upstream of
Kingston Bridge (on Saturdays at least), about where the High Street
meets the river bank.

I don't know how official it is !
