Default Hillingdon reconstruction

A rather random question. When Hillingdon LU was rebuilt as part of the A40
underpass construction scheme, was a through service to Uxbridge maintained
throughout?

TIA.

Don't recall any interruptions. The new station is actually about 200 yards
nearer Uxbridge.

Although only 10 years old, a small fortune is now about to be spent
refurbishing it!

I did wonder why it looks so tatty for such a new station. Have they even
built the car park properly yet? Last time I went it was pretty much a

patch
of derelict land, unsurfaced and not very much to it.

However, being on top of the A40, the pick up / drop off area is extremely
useful.

The station car park was surfaced years ago, but there is a patch of land
adjacent on which an office block is planned. Maybe it was this that you
saw.
