Default RMT sabre rattling again?

Theres a report in Metro (page 25) that the RMT - aka Bob Crow Inc -
is considing a strike ballot on the tube over pensions. Looks like
they've found a new topic to whinge about after they've flogged the
drivers pay and conditions argument to death.

Yep, eventually public sympathy will go, the next Tory govt (sadly there
will be one) will turn the Underground into about 8 or 9 private
companies and the RMT will become all but dead !!

The sad thing is that Unions don't learn from the past. Where are the
other great Unions ? What happened to the NUM ? They all became
dinosaurs pushing for silly claims and conditions, still thinking it was
1900, not 2000 and they became extinct.

Not that Crow cares. I bet he's on the best money he's ever earned in
his life and he can look forward to a seat in the house of Lords. What
can his members hope for ??

Well, to be fair I'm not even sure I will be here by then - I'm
foreigner*, and who knows what part of BNP's stance against migrants
tories will adopt. You will have the last laugh then.

But the current situation with immigration must be changed - I'm a
certified "highly skilled migrant" and during my two year long
struggle to get legal work permit I saw so much abuse and cheating of
the system that I despise and quite wary of other migrants in the UK.

* - proud to say that I'm not an economical migrant

Sadly there will be one? You mean no invasions of other counries with
all the death and mayhem that goes with it. Councils and spending
controlled so that we wont see ever escalating council tax bills and
pensioners wont be sent to prison because their pensions are so small
they can't pay the council tax. Decent schools, remember education,
education, educations. Being able to work have not have all our
salaries taken in tax. Kicking a few scum bags out of the country.
Getting rid of Ken Livingstone for the second time. Not tieing
everybody up in so much red tape they can't move. Not charging
everybody extra for a better NHS then closing hospitals, an end to
doctor callouts, sacking nurses. The chance to see an NHS dentist. I
could go on.

Well I'll go for it.

I thought the Tories supported the invasion of Iraq.

But they weren't the ones in possession of the intelligence who then
deciede to lie to Parliament about the reasons to invade.I see Gordon
Brown was on tv admitting that tax has gone up, tell us something that
we don't know already. They have also just discovered that council tax
has doubled in ten years beating inflation by a factor of 3.
Now where are all those poll tax rioters when you need them.

All that might have happened under a previous generation of Tory
leaders, but with that wet lettuce and new labour wannabe Cameron in
charge I doubt it would now.
