Unusual service
I had to change trains at Kentish Town this morning, from Thameslink to
Northern Line. At present there's only one escalator in service, so you have to walk down the spiral stairs. At the top of the stairs were two men, both in hi-vis labelled "Courtesy Porter". I presume this is for people with heavy luggage who weren't expecting to have to carry it down. -- Clive D.W. They must be a recent addition. I used KT on a couple of days, about a fortnight ago, and there was no presence at all. A good intiative, IMO. |
