All Metronet lines are now suspended, including parts of the Piccadilly where it runs over such lines. Anyone know why it is considered safe for Chiltern to run over the Metronet maintained Amersham - Harrow section, but not safe for the Met to do the same? Presumably because Chiltern have enough non-RMT drivers to be able to run the Aylesbury via Amersham service. They also run over a non-Metronet route (the route via High Wycombe), so they can stick all the RMT drivers on that one. |
