Where were the entrances to the old tunnels at Drayton park that used to go to Finsbury? Are they completely buried or is there anything still visible? Since the victoria line partially uses these does it pass under drayton park and come back up or does it go around? The tunnel portals at Drayton are no more - they used to be between the tracks, more or less where the trailing crossover is. I believe there is a gate adjacent to the down road, next to the northern tip of the crossover, which gives access to the old northbound tunnel. The southbound Victoria Line passes directly beneath Drayton Park's island platform, whilst the northbound road is slightly to the west, and passes beneath the derelict area where the old GN&CR depot used to be.
