Default Thunderbirds are go in the Chilterns !!!????

Just caught the backend of a train consisting of a set of old liveried
Virgin coaches ( MK3 ?,) with the driving trailer. tailed with a
Thunderbird Class 57 going through High Wycombe. Was the leading
engine also a Class 57 and if so which two were used ? Any more info
on this ? Was it a scheduled passenger service ? If it is coming back
a return time through HW would be useful as I would love to shoot some
phots of it !

Thanks again !

Not being a rail map expert, I have no idea how it actually got from there
to going along the Central Line to Euston. (Feel free to point me at a
line map.)

This is exactly what you need...
