Default oyster prices

Date Time Location Action Fare Price cap Balance
13/06/11 21:46 Euston [London Underground] Exit £2.50 £4.80
21:22 Oval Entry - £4.40 £2.30
11:43 Leicester Square Exit £2.50 £6.70
11:31 Euston [London Underground] Entry - £4.40 £4.20


My balance before this was £8.60. How come I've only been charged £3.80 for
the above journeys?

Looks like you've been charged correctly. Both journeys are off peak -
a Z1 only fare is £1.90 and so is the latter journey from Oval to
Euston (Z1-2) off peak. How much did you think you were going to be
charged?

in 1 day travelcard territory.

"Oyster saves you money" - cue angry (and ill informed) rant from George.

Certainly saves me money, compared to if I had otherwise have bought a Day
Travelcard - same applies to many people I know.
