I assume you mean in London, as you usually post to u.t.l. (This thread is
crossposted to uk.railway)

The advice from the Met Office is rather vague at present, as the weather
systems are very complex. They are implying that the very rough weather
could develop any time between late Sunday and early Wednesday, with Monday
as the most likely day.

For Greater London, Metcheck (www.metcheck.com) is as usual more specific
(though not necessarily more accurate), and is currently forecasting the
strongest winds to be in the middle of the day, with a 46 mph westerly wind
forecast for London at noon. Correction, they've just changed it as I
write this! It's now 44 mph at midday Monday (Force 8 gale), with things
happening rather earlier than previously forecast. On that basis, make an
early start if you are west of London!
