Ahh, that must be why there's no West Hampstead Thameslink. Oh, wait ...

The West Hampstead are all within easy walking distance for the typical
interchange traffic. City Thameslink is rather far from St Paul's to serve
as a useful interchange, especially given that Thameslink serves two
airports and that many more tourists would use it.

Since the nice new Bankside entrance to Blackfriars has opened, which is
near my office, I've found myself using Thameslink fairly regularly when
heading towards northwards - but given the extremely short distance
between City Thameslink and Blackfriars (and really, between Farringdon
and City Thameslink) why you'd want to keep City Thameslink there at all?

Keeps down dwell times at the other two... could be important when the
line gets 24 tph.

Well the City itself is pretty much a ghost town at weekends -
virtually all the shops are closed!

You obviously han't visited for a while; One New Change is open all weekend,
as are a lot nearby shops along Cheapside, and there are plenty of
customers.

Don't know about M-F off peak though.

One could say just from a glance that passenger volumes are respectable,
though I have no stats on that.
