Default Graffiti on 7/7 memorial on 9th anniversary of bombings

Disgusting news:
http://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime...s-9588355.html

Messages scrawled in red and black paint reading “7/7 was an inside job”,
“thousands died, Blair lied” and “four innocent Muslims” appeared on the
steel pillars of the memorial overnight.

Hundreds of people are expected to attend a memorial service at the tribute
taking place at midday today.

Jacqui Putnam, who was in the Tube carriage next to ringleader Mohammad
Sidique Khan when he detonated a device between Edgware Road and
Paddington, was due to speak at the service.

A huge clean up operation is underway to remove the slogans before the
event takes place.

The bombings, which took place on July 7 2005, killed 52 people and left
more than 700 injured.

The memorial is made up of 52 stainless steel pillars, each representing a
victim, inscribed with messages marking the date, time and locations of the
bombings.

A metropolitan police spokesman said officers are making enquiries to find
the culprit of the graffiti.
