Mobile Phone Users On Trains / Busses
In message , at 13:26:02 on Sun, 7 Aug 2016,
Graeme Wall remarked: On escalator's I find the biggest problem is people stopping to extending the handle of the suitcase as they get off. Guilty m'lud. Why not just leave it extended as you go up ????? It's people coming down that seem to automatically collapse the handle because the case is often on the step behind them and therefore at a higher level. Also, it's commonplace for escalators not to cover the entire vertical rise, so carrying the case up a few stairs at either the bottom or the top means the passenger has already lowered the handle before getting on the escalator. -- Roland Perry |
