what i'm wonderinf is if TFL staff passes will be valid on all trains in the gla boundry? Conversely what would happen to the NR staff who currently get 75% on LUL services and nothing on the buses? As I understand it, everything is on a reciprocal arrangement, but with the hiving off of rail services in the GLA area to the Mayor (an excellent idea IMO) it's an interesting point. -- Phil Richards London, N4 |

When Connex ran buses and trains their bus employees got free Connex rail travel but TfL didn't allow Connex's rail employees free bus travel. To be honest I wouldn't hold my breath :-( |

Where the county boundaries begin ? So then surely the Zones 1-A free staff travel will still apply. -- To reply direct, remove NOSPAM and replace with railwaysonline For railway information, news and photos see http://www.railways-online.co.uk |

Exactly the same as the old GLC boundary (except where it's been changed). It's marked on all good maps. -- http://www.election.demon.co.uk "The guilty party was the Liberal Democrats and they were hardened offenders, and coded racism was again in evidence in leaflets distributed in September 1993." - Nigel Copsey, "Contemporary British Fascism", page 62. |

Where exactly does the GLA boundary end? Nowhere. Take it from me: go along it far enough and you'll get back where you started. Colin McKenzie -- The great advantage of not trusting statistics is that it leaves you free to believe the damned lies instead! |
