The new bus station and road layout was in operation today with buses
completely ignoring pedestrain phasing of the lights. I was nearly
flattened by a bus as I crossed from Vauxhall tube to the corner by
the MI6 building despite the pedestrian lights being green.
Loads of people with yellow jackets around. First two, presumeabley
from the contractors, couldn't give a damn. The two guys from London
buses couldn't give a **** either.
Nice to know that Tfl don't give a **** for the safety of pedestrians
from bus drivers acting illegally.

How many Buses attempted to flatten thee ?
Was it only one which attempted the first time thus encouraging you to
attempt a second confirmatory attempt to cross ?
Or did two or more Buses team up for a multiple attempt...?
Perhaps TfL might consider erecting a giant Solarii Board to keep a running
total of such events.
This would also keep intending pax amused whilst awaiting their own
turn......

No, just an instruction to bus drivers that you stop on the red and go
on the green will suffice. After all, that what is the rest of road
users have to adhere to. Failing that, some testing by TfL that the
phasing doesn't mean that buses are are getting clear passage when the
pedestrian phase is clearly green.

U don`t mean to say the "Facility" was taken in charge WITHOUT such testing
being carried out and signed off on...????
Was it a PPP by any chance....? : )
