They manage in hospitals. You can't have someones life support pack up
for any length of time. Besides , whats with only having a single feed into the system?? They never heard of redundancy in critical systems? B2003 |

(Twice if you count the "London-wide" power cut). The cost of maintaining UPS on the signal main alone would be astronomical, let alone traction, lifts, OPO kit, station lighting, escalators et-al... -- Cheers, Steve.
