Congestion at Kings Cross/St Pancras

One of my collegues at work has expressed concern about the
overcrowding due to the CTRL works when having to walk up to Euston to
get the tube.
I just wonder why MML can't stop at West Hampstead to alleviate the
congestion at St Pancras.

I live in the area: it's not that bad.

Of course your colleague could take the Thameslink to West Hampstead and
then take the tube, or cross the road and walk to Warren Street, or
leave slightly later/earlier or ...

I've asked WAGN the same question about stopping more services at Finsbury
Park.

Wouldn't realy help, it is the congestion caused by CTRL works so
walking to Warren St has no advantages over Euston.

I noticed that Victoria Line passengers were being advised to walk to
Warren Street (15 minutes) rather than Euston (10 minutes), to which
Northern Line passengers are being directed. Are they doing that to spread
the load? It's a bit of a pain for Victoria Line users.

Might ease the congestion on the plaform but certainly not on the walk
to the station. I don't fancy anybodies chances of getting on at Warren
St though. I come down from Brent Cross and always prefer a Bank train
for obvious reasons. If there are no Bank trains and I have to catch a
Charring X train it is always pot luck if I can actually get on at
Warren St.

Or even better still stop more at Alexandra Palace and Finsbury Park.
With the volume of people who normally get on at Bounds Green/Wood Green
the trans are getting pretty full, as is the 29 bus. The services
from/to that area aren't frequent enough at weekends and evenings
