Default Thameslink before Crossrail?

According to [anonymous source],
1) the Thameslink box at St Pancras *isn't* going to be fitted out as
part of the CTRL works after all.
2) Crossrail defintely isn't going to happen until after the Olympics,
because of lack of money.
but...
3) The full Thameslink 20XX project *will* begin this decade.

Accurate? We report, you decide...

As was already commented on dedicated thread in here, despite that
announcement in Modern Railways a couple of issues back, I still find
no record of it getting the green light in other other source (other
than those that trace back to MR.)

Mr. Miles ?

Delete all after 'happen'.

This will be started in October after the Thameslink Programme (ex
Thameslink 2000) gets the go ahead, was originally costed to be fitted
out by the Thameslink Programme (2000), it was convenient to have the
CTRL project pay for the 'Box' as they needed to do major work in the
St Pancras area. Likewise, strengthening work was done in preparation
for the Thameslink Programme, around and on the viaducts between
Waterloo East and Spa Road, whilst the Jubilee Line was being
constructed many years ago, costed to the Jubilee Line Project.

Too costly, lack of money, definitely after the Olympics if at all.
There is also a lack of resources, manpower etc.

3) The full Thameslink 20XX project *will* begin this decade.

Thameslink Programme will happen, listen out in September!!

Anonymous obviously doesn't work for the DfT - see today's press
release and about time too.
