Is this a record-length thread? It seems to have been
going since Grand Central's first planned start date.

Could be the record off topic thread Charlie, and all the more relevant
groups originally cross posted to have baled out as well...

Paul

Several years back there was a Croydon Tramlink thread. It was very
long and went everywhere and anywhere. :-)

Oi, what are you doing invading uk.transport.london with all your talk
of alien Bluebells?

And did the Croydon Tramlink thread ever get to Crystal Palace, or was
any such attempt foiled by the Usenet Treasurer diverting the thread's
funding towards Crossrail?

The Tramlink Thread was:

http://groups.google.com/group/uk.tr...997c5bb127f49/

It ran to 713 messages. It started in uk.transport.london and
misc.transport.urban-transit But, it eventually included uk.railway
and several other groups.

And, yes, I wish L Ron Hubbard had never invented his bizarre
religion, so there! ƒ¼

Never mind that, what about those bloody seed pods?
