Could Old Holborn get in with appropriate sponsorship?

Could the Strand brand of cigarettes be relaunched with a new, dynamic, City
of London association?

What a great shame the actor Stratford Johns is no longer "with us" to
sponsor his own station.

And do we know a geezer named Blake Hall who might like sponsorship as a
vanity project? Or Lester Square?

A dynamism exemplified by the dilapidated former station in Surrey Street?

Lester Square was the lead guitarist of The Monochrome Set, but I doubt
if he's minted enough to afford to have a tube station named after him ;-)

In case you hadn't noticed, tobacco advertising has been banned in the
UK for about a decade.

Ah yes.

It just sounded like a good wheeze to me.
