Northern line extension
Apparently work is starting on the new development at battersey today. Anyone
know when work on the northern line extension to there will begin? -- Spud |

TfL have applied for deemed planning permission. The Govt agreed in the Budget earlier this year to back a £1bn loan to fund the extension. TfL project page - http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/proj...mes/21614.aspx If all the approvals proceed to programme construction will start in 2015. I thought that the United States wanted to fund the project for its planned embassy in Wandsworth. |
