I'm going to France on the 09:03 Eurostar on Sunday so I thought I'd look up the best train routes from my local station, Harrow, to Waterloo. There aren't any !!! Metropolitan not running, Jubilee not running between Stanmore and Willesden Green, Bakerloo apparently not running, Silverlink Metro and Silverlink County apparently not running into Euston - buses replacing all trains !! I understand that maintenance work is necessary but it seems drastic to isolate one whole quarter of outer London. Cheerz, Baz The Met is still running outwards from Harrow - so you could get it to Rayners Lane, then Piccadilly to Green Park, Jubilee to Waterloo. Certainly not ideal but it should work. TfL Journey Planner reckons just over an hour - although using the rail replacement bus to Willesden Green seems to take about as long anyway. -- Dave Arquati Imperial College, SW7 www.alwaystouchout.com - Transport projects in London |
